About Me

Hidesawa Sudo (Japanese, b. 1973)

A fine-art/documentary photographer based in Osaka, Japan.

I regularly photograph people, landscapes, and etc.

In order to create the impressive & passionate images,

I prefer to use available light such as natural daylight

in both black & white and colour photography.

I attended a workshop by Magnum Photos and inpired by

Chris Steele Perkins.

Initially I worked as a professional photographer of sports in Tokyo.

I have exhibited over the past years in Japan, Korea, Germany, Romania, the UK and Australia.

Also I am a member of The Royal Photographic Society of Great Britain and The Photographic Society of Japan:
